Miles turns 1 today. That sure went by fast, seems like just yesterday I was wearing scrubs. Still looking forward to more sleep and more stable walking since he's giving me panic attacks on the daily whenever he bobbles on the tile floor. Congrats on year one my little friend. Salut!
[update]A little walking video from Miles. Ignore my musical noodling.
I love the British automotive show Top Gear. Crazy Brits testing the limits of super cars, regular cars and reasonably priced cars and then talking smack about them. In this clip they test a Vauxhaul VXZ (pretty much the same thing as a Pontiac GTO in the US) and then hand it over to Japanese drifting experts to do their worst. If you love this clip there are many more fun Top Gear clips on Google Video. Thanks to the almighty Beeb for producing this fantastic series.
If you are wondering how to embed clips like this in your blog, on the side of most Google Video clips there is a 'Put on site' link that will allow you to grab a snippet of code to put on your blog. Very slick.
Just a late reminder that the aforementioned 5th annual Macworld bloggers lunch and schmoozefest is tomorrow, Tuesday the 10th. Final details below (and cross-posted on the Upcoming.org entry).
Meet at 11:30am at the top of the Moscone South Hall escalators. Then as 20-time Macworld Conference attendee extraordinare, Raines Cohen points out, we shall walk to the nearest Specialty's Cafe to grab sandwiches and then head back over to the Yerba Buena Gardens for lunch.
If you aren't cool with all that walking, bring your own lunch and meet us at Yerba Buena Gardens around noon-ish.
This is the same plan we have had for the last five years, so if you've been before, you know the drill. The weather will be cloudy. In case of rain, I recommend full blown panic or drop an SMS to cellphone at this domain.
